Lundy Management Group + Lee & Associates


CARY, N.C. – Two of the Triangle’s most respected property management companies are joining forces to create the region’s largest locally-owned property and facility management firm, with plans to grow statewide and beyond.

Lee & Associates Property Management merged April 1 with Lundy Management Group, one of North Carolina’s best-known property and facility management firms.

This strategic merger unites two successful property management companies with a combined half century of experience and a deep commitment to responsive service, trusted client relationships, and operational excellence. The partnership expands the combined firm’s capabilities across North Carolina and beyond while maintaining a strong local identity and personalized service.

The merged company carries the Lee & Associates brand, with its new headquarters located in downtown Cary at 216 E. Chatham Street. Lundy will continue operating its branded division, continuing its focused expertise in medical facilities management, a growing commercial business sector across North Carolina.

With a combined team of 50 professionals, the firm becomes the largest locally-owned property and facility management company in the Triangle, managing over 13 million square feet and delivering unmatched expertise, deep engineering capabilities, and full- spectrum commercial real estate services.

Founded in 1986 by the late Jim Baker, the Lundy Management Group has been a fixture in North Carolina commercial real estate for almost 40 years. Jamie Baker, who represents the next generation of leadership, brings a strategic mindset and operational depth that will be instrumental as the merged firm expands its service offerings and client base.

The merger positions the firm among the top four property-management companies in the Triangle, contrasting with publicly-traded competitors with no local ownership ties. “The large-but-local touch is something our market has been missing,” Withers said. “Our growth has been exponential, and this merger adds even more experience to our team as we continue to scale.”

Together, the new company will deliver local property management, building engineering, construction management, and facilities services throughout North Carolina, along with nationwide financial and accounting resources. Its client base includes office, medical, retail, and industrial properties, including highly technical environments such as clean rooms, surgical centers, and lab space.
