The Lundy Group is the
Development Consultant and Owner’s Representative for the Liggett
Project, a mixed-use redevelopment of 840,000 square feet of historic
buildings in Durham, North Carolina.
Liggett Group, Incorporated, the property owner, has contracted with
Lundy to conduct market analyses, feasibility studies, and other
research to determine the highest and best use for this $20,000,000
asset. In conjunction with
ARDA Belk Architects, Lundy has advanced a redevelopment plan that
incorporates residential, office, retail, restaurant, transportation,
and parking components.
The project involves State and Federal Historic Tax Credits, a
Public/Private partnership with the City of Durham, development of an
Amtrak station for the North Carolina Department of Transportation Rail
Division, and negotiated economic development incentives.
Lundy
is currently soliciting interest from equity partners, joint venture
development partners, and prospective tenants for the project.
