Midtown Medical Building
The Midtown Delray Medical Building is a 30,000 square foot medical office building located at the intersection of Linton Boulevard and Old Germantown Road in Delray Beach, Florida. The building is located less than one half mile from the Delray Medical Center which is a 403 bed hospital owned and operated by Tenet Healthcare Corporation. Delray Medical Center has 603 physicians on staff and admitted in excess of 20,000 patients in 2005.
Stanmore contracted to purchased the land in 2007. In order to construct medical office the parcel was re-entitled from agricultural use to a special activities district. This process took one year and Stanmore closed on the 2.3 acre parcel in July 2008. During this time, Stanmore created approximately $1.0 million in value with only a deposit out of pocket.
Anderson Moore Construction serves as the general contractor for the project. Shell completion is projected for October 2009. The first tenants will take occupancy during the first quarter of 2010.
